St Mary Aldermary (14.8 x 21cm)

This original ink drawing was hand-drawn onto handmade 150gsm paper, approximately the size of an A5 sheet (14.8 x 21cm). It depicts the Church of Saint Mary Aldermary, a Grade I Christopher Wren-designed church completed in 1681.

This view shows the church within the narrow, ancient lanes of a long-lost London. The buildings are hidden in the shadows while the church itself is bathed in sunlight.
