St Paul's #7 (21 x 29.7cm)

This charcoal drawing on 150gsm handmade paper depicts a haunting view of St Paul’s Dome towering over the rooftops of a dark, imagined old London.  Inspired by Herbert Mason’s famous Blitz-era photograph “St Paul’s Survives”, I used various charcoal shades to create a scene where the viewer can decide whether the dome is illuminated by moonlight or sunlight.
