My final year piece at University (2013)
After weeks of frustration over what to create for my final piece, I was toying with the idea of creating a set of London Bridge, but as hard as I was trying to make it work, nothing seemed to come together the way I wanted. One day, I decided to stop what I was doing and break for lunch. Whilst doing so, I decided to scrap the idea altogether and do something completely left-field with the props I had.
Unsure of what I was even creating, I was having a lot of fun and everything seemed to flow so naturally. Little did I know I would create such a successful piece of artwork. I've been fortunate enough to have this exhibited multiple times and it was also cemented into cinema history, when I was approached to include the piece in Ben Charles Edward's 'Set the Thames on Fire' (2015) where you can see this piece come to life, fully animated in the first scene that opens the movie, something I'm very proud of!
