this drawing shows a familiar view looking along Leadenhall towards the church of Catherine Cree, the Cheesegrater Building & the famous Gherkin tower.

The paved road has long disappeared and in its place we see the still waters of a canal overgrown with Lilly pads. Dominating the skyline we see a future skyscraper named 1 Undershaft.
