The Ruins of London Bridge

Part of a series exploring a fictional future London. This version of London has been present in some of my work for over 10 years now and it has always been my plan to turn this into a full series.

when I started this idea I wanted to combine digital drawing, photography and miniature and was limited to using an iMac and photoshop. 10 years later and with the advancement of technology I can go further using the iPad pro to draw directly onto the display and combine many layers.

The London depicted in my work is more dystopian and combines over 2000 years of history. This London survived both the great fire and the blitz with narrow medieval streets, ancient churches and towering factories all remaining in a derelict state
